Iris was a wiser, older sister, a best friend that one could confide in, a sort of motherly type who would try to steer you on the right path. We had long telephone conversations by phone on a weekly basis for many years and I am left with wonderful memories of those talks. She was a very kind and loving sister and aunt with a sense of humor that never failed to make one laugh.
